Extending over two floors this unique staircase using cantilevered stairs concept allows the treads to float across the stairwell void.
Designed in sections with millimeter precision the exterior stone string dresses a curved steel beam fixed steel beams fixed within the walls on both sides. The steps feature a stepped ogee soffit and are then fixed to the interior of the steel beam using dowels welded into position to correspond with pre-drilled holes in each tread. Our in-house design and engineering teams provided full loading calculations and technical expertise working alongside the main contractor to develop the steel work support at each level of the build.
